“The old people took great care of their feet and seldom or never had corns.”
[-]
The old people took great care of their feet and seldom or never had corns. They spent the greater part of their time barefooted, not like the people of today _ who wear highheeled boots, about two sizes smaller than their feet - The old people washed their feet and legs every night, and were proud of their feet.
They could walk long distances and did not suffer from footache.
One old man - a Michael Crossan of Konnagh Kinnega _ a district about four miles from Buncrana _ was known to be specially particular about the care of his feet
With all his care, however, a much_dreaded corn appeared on one of his toes.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
