- A few years ago a great number of men were working in a quarry. This quarry is situated on a farm belonging to a man named Mr James McDaid in Ballintrieve.
Ballintrieve is situated east of the main road leading to Clonmany.
When they were in a good depth in the quarry, and work going on as usual, they suddenly stopped.
After a hesitation they lifted up a coffin and left it sitting beside them. Having examined it closely, but not opening it, they buried it again.
