   Its not unusual when wording a public address
   The effect for to make still grander
   To give it a lick on the Blarney stone
   But this is a word of candour
   II
   There are those we meet, who are bland & sweet
   Top hole when piled up is the manger,
   But it's just to find when we know them better
   That they only make a good stranger.

   But Miss Davison made a good citizen
   Through the years has stood up to the test
   Those who esteemed & respected her most.
   Were the people who knew her the best.

   I'll not say but there's been a bicker at times
   For who knowing the public's gist
   With its self chosen tunes called to dance to
   But knows that you must draw your fist

   Her dear solicitude the school
   The poor will live to bless her
   A bounteous given to all claims
   The church will miss her
