    There was a man called Patrick Coyle who lived in the townland of Lurgancloughan.
    One day he wanted a sole and some points for a plough, so he started off and walked to Letterkenny. He got the things he wanted, and started home again.He did this double journey which is a distance of 56 miles in the one day.

    One day a man in the townland of Ballyheerin called Patrick Kerr was out in a boat lifting fog. His fog net filled with seaweed, and the iron of his pole fell off and sank to the bottom of the sea.
