   Mulroy Bay.
   When the golden sun was setting far behind the ocean blue
   The silvery moon was rising o'er the hills of glistening hue;
   I often dream of Ireland and my home now far away,
   And the bonny purple heather near the banks of Mulroy Bay.

   Oh! that little old thatched cottage with its doors so neat and small,
   As it nestles in a valley midst the hills of Donegal,

   I will often dream of mother sitting near the cottage door -
