- A Hidden Treasure
A couple of miles above Rathmullan there is a farm called the Haw Farm, and it is believed that a crock of gold is hidden in one of the fields.
The place is still to be seen to the present day, but it belongs to the fairies.
Along time ago a number of men went to the place to dig for it. But the man that took the first shovel ful fell dead on the ground.
When the rest of the men saw that they ran away. No one ventured to dig for it ever since.
It is said that also every night for a year after the man was buried the fairies came out and started to play music and dance.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
