Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Sowens are made from oaten meal. The first thing that is done lukewarm water is put on the meal and seeds and let them soak over two nights then they are strained through a sieve.
    Then the liquid is put on and boil it. This liquid must be be kept stirred the same way the whole time because if they were stirred any other way they would be destroyed. When they get thick there is salt put on them and take them off then because they are ready for use.
