A Story (ar lean)
“Long ago there lived an old witch close to the Deerpark. It was a very lonely place and she lived in a little cabin alone and there was not a house near her.”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the next night it came back again with twenty more cats like itself. They all sat down at the fire. The old woman had a basin of milk and she left it down to the cats. The cats began to drink the milk and the cat with the broken nose said "That is good and very good but my nose is broken." If the old woman had not given them the milk they would have torn her to pieces. The cat with the broken nose got behind the other cats and drove them all out of the house and she never saw them again.
