Ar an leathanach seo

Once Saint Columba was pursued by his enemies. He ran through a bog and tried to climb a turf bank. But he was caught. He asked the people to leave a step on the end of the bank ever after, so that anybody could get up.
To this day, men leave a step at the end of the bank when cutting turf.
