    A person with Rheumatism says he knows by his pains when the weather is about to change.
    When the cranes are knocking about it is said that the weather is going to continue stormy.
    When there is a gloomy ring around the moon it is a sign that the weather is going to be wet.
    When people see the soot falling down the chimney constantly in country cottages it is said that there is going to be rain.
    When the cattle keep down along the bottom of the hills it is the sign of stormy weather.
    People say that when sheep make for the highest peaks towards the evening that the weather is going to come good.
    If the sheep are seen coming to the bottom of the hill it is a sure sign of stormy weather.
