  1. Some years ago a certain man named James Mc Ginley of Drimfin dream't three successive nights that there was a crock of gold hidden underneath a large rock on a hill of Frank Dorrian, Drimfin. This rock is visible from the little brae on the road behind Dorrians house.
To this rock James Mc Ginley proceeded one night accompained[?] by two other men, with spades and a crow-bar to investigate the spot. They dug around it, and after some time it is alleged the[y] were forced to leave as a crowd of little men emerged from beneath the rock and beat these men, who fled to Mc Ginley's house. It is stated that on investigation the drain they dug around it is still visible.
