A family called Doherty now live on Rone’s farm.At that time each scholar used to get a loaf of black bread and the master used to get one also. A man used to bring it round in a creel once a week.The master used to wear long skirts. They were very long in the back and there were big pockets in them.One day when the bread came every scholar got a loaf and the master got his load.Tom Rone had a daughter at school named Moll.She stole the loaf out of the master’s pockets and put a turf in its place.This man taught school in Screen till his death.
