- Certain people can cure different diseases. The first born child, of parents, who had the same surname before they were married, can cure the mumps. He or she leads the person infected to a stream, where the infected person takes three mouthfuls of water and blesses himself at the same time. This is done on three consecutive days, at the same hour.
If there are seven or more children of one sex in the family, then the seventh child can cure a disease called the evil. He or she gets holy water and blesses the person afflicted.
A child, who has never seen her (his) father, can cure the disease called 'foul mouth'. She blesses the white lump, which appears on the tongue of the person infected.
