Ar an leathanach seo
- We have a churn at home. It is made of wood. We churn twice each week in summer but in winter only once. Two people do the (work) churning it is done by hand now but long ago it was done by foot. When strangers come into the house when churning is going on some of them help to churn or if they don’t they do things in the house. My mother takes off the butter with a butter spade. She puts it in a butter dish. The butter dish is made of wood. She makes it into a roll with the butter spade. She then puts in into small found butter dishes then it is ready for use. The milk that is left after the butter comes off is called butter-milk. This is used for making bread. It is also given to calves.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
