Red Shanks grow in old land in corn and in potatoes.
Bogbine grows in a marshy place especially around the edge of a lough.
Mountain Sedge grows in bogy land and when boiled it is very good for a cough.
Groundcel grows in corn, in wheat and in rye. It is like a daisy but it has a yellow flower.
Dandelions grow nearly everywhere and the juice in the stem can cure warts.
Lis na mBac grows in mossy land and when boiled if the water is mixed with butter and left to freeze it makes very good ointment for healing cuts and sores.
Crottle grows in odd places. It grows on rocks and has a blue flower. When it is boiled the water can be used for dyeing wool. There are too [sic] kinds of Crottle. One kind can dye red and the other blue.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
