  1. Termon Mc Grath is the name of the ruins of an old Castle which stands in the Rectory Grounds. It was blown up in the times of wars in Ireland long ago. One night two men went to dig for a pot of gold. They worked very hard until twelve o'clock digging for gold. On the outside of the castle the men heard a noise. A Ghost appeared and walked round the men.
    The two men became afraid and ran away and left all. They did not go again to get the gold.
    This story was obtained by John Noel Johnston from his mother Mrs Johnston, aged 40.
