    There is a house on Knock na Cree Road called 'Mount Salus'. The wall behind it is called the devil's hoof wall. One day the children of Mount Salus were playing behind the house. It was six o'clock when they stopped playing. Just before they went into the house they went to the wall and saw the devil on the wall. He ran at them but he caught his hoof in the wall and vanished. There is a cloven foot mark on the wall also. After that day the wall has been called the Devil's hoof wall.
