  1. boys wish to get it too, but they have missed their chance.
    Put a piece of string hanging out of the ceiling and a big sour apple on it. Then put six cuts in it and put a threepenny bit in one of the cuts. Then there are numbers 1,7,2 put in a hat with other papers without numbers, if two of the boys get the numbers, they get first and second chance of the cuts. If either of the boys guessed the right cut in which the coin is he gets it. I tried but did not guess the right cut.
