    Most of the people in my district get married on a Wednesday because it is said that it is the luckiest. The two people getting married get money. The father of the bride gives the bride money and this is called her fortune. On the day of the wedding the bride and the husband go on their honeymoon to Dublin or Mt Melleray or some other place.
    When they come back they have an all night dance. They go on their honeymoon in a motor-car and ribbons streaming from the motor-car and a shoe tied behind.
