- There was a great big lios one time situated in a place called Knockanaris in the parish of Clashmore. The man who owned the field used to keep cattle in the field where the lios was.
In the middle of this lios there was a big hole and the man lost two big cattle. The man said this day that he would level that lios to the ground and fill the hole with stones and have no more of his cattle lost. He went and dug the lios. No sooner had he it dug than he got a queer mouth and could not walk by the power of the Sluegh. There were many people buried there also. Many a man got lost in that field in the night-time and could not get out until the daylight.
