- There is no tailor in this parish now but long ago there were three or four. On special occasions the people in this parish wear different clothes. When any one in a house is dead their people wear black. An old saying about tailors a long thread is a sign of a lazy tailor. When people would be going to buy a suit long ago the tailor used to go with them. They also got trimmings with the material for the suit. In the houses the people make stockings yet but they do not sell them. They only make them for their children and husbands. In this country they have no spinning wheel but there were a few long ago.
