  1. Some of the diseases we hear about are Scarlatina, Ringworm, Consumption, Whooping Cough, Lancer, Diabetes, Chicken Pox, Goitre, The Thrush, Asthma, Yellow Jaundice, Bronchitis. The old cure for the Whooping Cough was to go under a donley three times. There is a well out in the mountain for curing ringworm. To rub the water to the patch is the cure. There is also another well in Dromana for curing the whooping cough, three drinks of the water is the cure. There is a cure for the Thrush in a person whose father would be dead before he would be born. He should go to the house fasting and blow his breath into the patient's mouth.
