Once there was a coach driver in Cappoquin and he was hired to go to Lismore.

Once there was a coach driver in Cappoquin and he was hired to go to Lismore. It was late when he was coming home. When he was coming near the gallows his horses took fright and he got down and led the horses on. He drove home the Kilbree road. When he came near the bridge he met Petticoat Loose and she told him to go back to the gallows or she would kill his horses. He went back and saw the ghost of his brother that was hanged a few weeks before.
