- There is a glen known as Clas an Aifreann. It is about a quarter of a mile from my house.
There is a big rock inder a bush there, known as the "Mass Rock". This rock is still to be seen. Whenever the priest would see a soldier coming towards him, he used to go under a big bank. This bank was built up of sods and stones.
Whenever the soldiers would see the priest he used to jump across a river known as "The Araglen River".
No priest was caught. Neither did any priest say Mass in any house in my district.
