Ar an leathanach seo
- Our farm is situated in the village of Knockfarnaught.
It is convenient to the school, and the chapel. Its area is about eighteen acres. All the land round the house is good, and we till it every year. We sow an acre, and a half of potatoes, two acres of oates, a rood of cabbage, and we sow some vegetables also.
We get the turf in the land. There is a road running from the Tubbernavine road to Knockfarnaught road.
We have four barns. There are three cows, and three calves in one of them. There are two rooms, and a kitchen, in our house.
There are names on all our fields. They are all Irish names. We have four meadow fields near the house. The following are the names of the fields:- Toin Ruadh, An Cnoch Mhor, Sean-Macaire, Coileann Beitidhigh, Pairc-Áine, Portach, Pairc Ganalí, Piosa Tobair, Poll Gorm, Áltáin, Grafí,(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
