When the wild goose comes from the east and flies towards the north early in the year it is the sign of a bad winter. When they scream very loud it is the sign of rain. The robin is a small bird. When Our Lord was dying on the cross the little robin came to the foot of the cross. The blood of Our Lord sprinkled on his breast. It is said that it is not right to kill a robin.
