Ar an leathanach seo
- Once there lived a king and his wife and daughter. His wife died and he got married again. His wife hated the Princess. There was a witch living nearby. One night when the stepmother got the king and the Princess gone to bed, she went to the witch’s house and asked her to turn the Princess into something. She said she would. The stepmother came back again and crept into the house and went to bed.
The next day the Princess went out riding on a horse. As she was passing by the witch’s house the witch came out and waved a wand and turned the Princess into a bird and she flew up in the sky. The horse made for home. When the King saw him coming he knew that the Princess must be killed. He said he would give his palace and a hundred pounds to any man that would get her. Everyone was looking for her.
The next night the stepmother went to the witch again and asked her where the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
