    When the cat washes his face in front of the fire it is a sign of rain.
    The Sheep
    When the sheep move up to the top of the hill it is the sign of coming good weather and when they begin to come down from above it is the sign that bad weather is near.
    The Cow
    If the cow shakes herself as she leaves the stable it is the sign of coming bad weather.
    The Pig
    If is said the pig can see the coming storm. She gathers the straw round her and remains in her sty.
    The Cock
    If the day is raining and the cock begins to crow it is the sign the day will clear quickly.
