  1. In the olden times when Priests could not hold station as publicly as they do in those days, the usual custom was to send their clerk the night before with a hand bag and leave it in the house in which they were to hold the station next morning.
    They mostly used to walk as roads were bad them days. As a rule Priests were very fond of sport and kept a grey hound. When they had done their duty in the station houses, and their breakfast eaten, they always used to wait for the dinner. They had their friend or
