Ar an leathanach seo
- The Granaghans lived in the castle in the glen. The owner had an only daughter and Burke Ruas had twleve sons and an illegitimate one. Battles were frequent at this time. Granaghan told Burke he would give his daughter to any of the sons who could bring out his stallion horse and ride him. They all failed but the illegitimate son and he got married to Granaghan's daughter and got the place.
While Burkes were in the Glen they got fever. A clan from Backs came and took their stock. Burke got out of his sick bed, took back his stock and killed the robbers at McKeons.
