    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Long ago there were no flour nor tea like there are now, and so the people had no bread or tea for their breakfasts. In the morning they would put down a pot of potatoes, and when they would be boiled, they would strain them, and put them out on a basket which was left in the middle of the floor, then the whole family would sit around the basket, for this was their table. Sometimes they might have a herring or mackeral with the potatoes, but the most of the time, they only had a mug of butter-milk or thick-milk.
