  1. There are lots of blessed wells in our parish of Lacken.
    There is a well near us. It is called St. John's well. It is situated in the middle of a big field near the village of Clumanass. There is a strange story told about that well.
    It was first situated in the middle of the village of Clumanass and the people of the village used to put their cows to that well for drinks.
    But one morning when they came, the well was not there, it had disappeared.
    The next place it was seen was in the field that it is now in.
    After that, it was never disturbed
