Ar an leathanach seo
- About sixty years ago people in this locality knew nothing about cement and therefore could not have floors like those which we now have in our homes. Their floors were made of flags.
The flags were placed side by side and the furrows between every two were filled with mortar which was made from lime and sand.
The flags were craftily cut from large rocks by stonecutters, each flag being about two feet long, one foot broad, and two inches thick.
These flags were carried home on men's shoulders or sometimes on donkey's backs.- Bailitheoir
