    they hold another great feast and invited the friends. The newly married pair invited not nearly as many as before. If they had to go a long distance to the boy's home they took a mortor-car and if not they walked.
    There was a race from the church to the bride's house and every man tried to reach the house first. My father never saw this but they often heard of it. It must have been a hundred yeare ago.
