    As Peter sat on a marble stone,
    Christ Himself came there alone
    What ails thee, Peter, or dost thou ache
    O! Lord God it is the toothache!
    Rise up, Peter, and be thou healed
    Not thee alone but all mankind,
    That say these words for my Dear Sake
    Shall never be troubled with the toothache.
