  1. Long ago there were men in Ireland called Priest Hunters. They were appointed by the English Government.
    They tried to kill all the priests and banish the Catholic Religion in Ireland, but they could not do so.
    They got five pounds for a priests, a teachers head or a wolve's head.
    they killed every priest they could find.
    They followed them for miles through fields, and bogs until they caught up with them. Then they cut the heads off them.
    One of them was a very bad man.
    He was called Seán na sagaire.
    Seán followed the priests every day.
