Abbot Prendergast met Reilly one day and asked him to show him the fiacal.

It was afterwards given to Mrs. Blake who preserved it at Blake Hill near Cong. From this it was taken to Menlough near Galway, when one of the Blake family there was very ill. Some time after it was supposed to be presented by the Blakes to Dr. Stokes of the Royal Museum, Dublin.
- Long ago a young doctor was called on a sick call by a gentleman. After looking into the case very carefully he called the gentleman a side and said: "Well the only thing that I can suggest is that you must send your mother in law to a warmer climate".
The man disappeared, came back with an axe a moment later, and exclaimed,
