Our cows have fancy names such as Baa, Daisy, Polly, Dixie and Pinkie. In the evenings when I am driving the cows, and calves home from the pasture I say, Howah, Howah, Howah. We have two cowhouses for our cows. There are galvenised roofs on them. There are cemented floors, and large stalls for them to eat out of. They are sometimes called the "Bothún". Our cows are mostly tieded by their necks. The ties are made of iron, but they are not homemade. In our cowhouse we have a horseshoe to bring good luck. There are no stories that I know of connected with milking, but there are many customs.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
