Ar an leathanach seo
- The potato crop is the most important crop on our farm, it occupies two acres of land. They are sowed in drills. During the preparation for sowing the drills all the people help one another. From once the stalk appears it has to be treated properly. It has to be sprayed two or three times.
When the potatoes are dug the children pick them, and the farmer stores them away in pits. The spade is used then digging them. Later the potatoes are taken into the garden where they are used gradually.
