Ar an leathanach seo
- There are two forges in the parish Mr. Raftery owns one in Cloves, Irishtown, Co Mayo, and Mr. O'Connor owns another in Craobh-iseil. Some of their people had been smiths over forty years. They are both situated on the road. The forge is roofed with corrugated iron.
It has one big door and windows at the back ans it has one fireplace. The bellows is used fo kindling a bad fire. The smith uses an anvil, bellows, Sledge, hammer, vice in his work. The smith shoes horses and asses he does not shoe-catle. The smith makes ploughs and harrows and spades and pike axes. Some of the forge work is done in the open air(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
