    Festival Customs
    St. Stephen's day is on the 26th of December. On that day the wren boys go out through the country looking for money and they usually sing this-
    "The wren, the wren the king of all birds St. Stephens day was caught in the firs. Up with the kettle and down with the pan. Give us a penny to bury the wren". Some of the boys who played musical instruments usually get money and then they divide it among them.
    They sing and dance so as to get money.
    St. Bridgets day falls on the 2nd February and the young boys and girls go round to
