- One day there was a young man about thirty years old. He was trying to put a young horse and an old horse ploughing but the young horse would not plough for him.
There was a gentleman passing in his carriage and he said, God bless the work." The young man said, "God bless you too." When the gentleman was returning again the young man had the young horse working with the old one. The gentleman asked the young how did he put her working. "Ah," he said, "I put her working." The gentleman (told) he had three daughters and one of their names was Stuaic. They put that name on her because she was stubborn. The gentleman said to the young man that he would give him, £10,000 if he would marry Stuaic.
The young man said he did not know until he ask his father first. His father told him he did not care. He consented to marry her. When the day of the Wedding came the young man got the worst old hound and the worst old horse he had for the Wedding. He brought a revolvor(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
