    A man of the name of Michael Hynes who lived near Irishtown used gather the people of the vicinity into his house and teach them long ago. Some people from my own village- Cloonmore used go to him for lessons and it is with quills they used write.
    There was an other man by the name of Paddy Kelly that used go to England every year and after his return home, the people used go in to him for lessons
