1. Collection of Prayers

   

   Roinn Roinn Postáil

   The prayers that I learned in school and at home are Our Father, Hail Mary, the Apostles Creed, the Confiteor Grace before meals, grace after meals. The Angelus, Acts of faith, Hope and Charity, Act of Contrition, Hail Holy Queen. I learned the Inigo and the Memorare from a book. I learned the Morning Offering at home.

   The words of the Lord's prayer are. Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be Thy name Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

   This is a prayer my mother taught me. O Angel of God my guardian dear to whom God's love commits me here even this night be at my side to light and guard to rule and guide.On four corners of my bed four Angels are spread. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John. God bless the bed I lie on if I die before I wake it's God I will give my soul to take and if an evil come to me my guardian angel waken me.
