The same mark Dowd mentioned in the previous story dreamt three nights in sucession that there was a crock of gold buried in certain spot in ChurchHill of the back of the old Police barracks in Dromore West. One morning he set out very early with his spade on his shoulder. He came to the spot described in the dream + began to dig.
    He dug away for some time + then suddenly heard some noise quite near him. He looked round + a little distance from him he saw a small black man tapping the ground with one of his heels. Mark became frightened + ran home + told his story. The belief is that the little black man was pointing out the spot where the crock of gold was hidden but Mark did
