- There was a man by the name of Foley living near Taghmon, and he had a great sheep dog. Wan night he was up minding a sow that was going to have the boneens. She had the boneens all night, and Foley come into to the fire to warm himself.'Twasn't long till he heard some scraping at the door. He got up and opened it, and in comes the dog with a boneen in his mouth. 'Twas a weak little boneen, and the dog was bringing him into the fire to warm him.Recorded from James Carroll, Taghmon, March 1936
