We have two horses, two cows, two donkeys and one calf on our farm.
The horses' names are Maggie and Nanny. The cows names are Daisy and Molly and the donkeys' names are Nanny and Bob and we have only one calf and its name is Darkey
When a man is driving cattle he says the following words "Heel them up", Go on to them", "Catches them" etc
The people around here call the house in which the cows are kept the byre.
We usually put peat mould or old straw under the cows as bedding.
Some cows are tied with ropes and others are tied with chains.
