two trees a casket of gold is supposed to be hidden. About twenty years ago a man tried for this treasure. On not finding it he cut down the two trees. Ever afterwards a wonderfully strange noise is heard at midnight. And on the stumps of these trees there are two spirits seen at this part of the night. In latter years a wall was built around this height. It took a fortnight to build this wall. The night after this wall was built it was knocked.
