  1. In olden days in Tallow Wood was buried a shoe full of gold. Fifty years later the secret was discovered by Mr. Keating who is now dead for some years. The exact place was between three trees. The man dug one foot. Here he discovered a large stone which he was unable to raise. On leaving the hole to go for aid he marked the place thoroughly. He returned soon after but he could find only silver.
