Wance there was a fine strappin young fella named Larkin living around this part o' the country who had only a little choy (a small bit) of land wud a rath in the middle of it. "Begob" says he " I think all this talk about raths being unlucky, I'm going to plough it as sow it an' I'm blooming sure it will be better than have it there waste" So he set to work and started to plough it, but just as he was ploughing the last sod the coulter struck a stone in the ground and one of the handles struck Larkin.
